Te Wei Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded in 1987 in central Taiwan to make hand tools including PR-type wrenches, extra-long combination wrenches, midget combination wrenches, midget offset wrenches, single-ring wrenches, slugging-ring wrenches, extra-long offset wrenches, E-star-ring wrenches, half-moon wrenches, and wrench handles.

The company recently unveiled a new factory as part of its plan to boost its self-content ratio and output. According to the company`s president, Wang Wan-te, the new factory will help boost the company`s self-content ratio to 50% from the previous 30% and double its output to two million tools per month.

The new factory was constructed to deal with forging processing and product assembly, while the original factory will continue to perform processing work such as electroplating, boring, grinding, and oscillating.

Currently, the ISO 9000 certified company supplies products in more than 300 specifications. They are constructed of SCR-6140 alloy steel, giving them excellent torque characteristics and durability.

Te Wei`s products are certified under the European DIN industrial standard and the US ANSI standard, making them popular with buyers in Europe, the U.S., Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

The company specializes in turning out tailor-made professional tools via small-volume production, and deals with dedicated stores rather than discount stores. The company supplies ODM-based and OEM-based orders, although it sometimes also offers its own-brand tools.
